COVID SAFETY POLICY

We are super excited to be welcoming back our members to Fitness Theory on Monday 12th April 2021. To ensure the safety of you and our community, we ask that you please abide by the below measures we have put in place at all times.

General Rules for Members:
Do not come to the gym if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been in contact with another person who is unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Keep 2M distance between yourself and other members and staff at all times.
We are running a no physical contact policy – so sadly no high fives, fist pumps or handshakes
Members are requested to arrive in their sportswear and shower/change at home where possible
Hand sanitizers and antibacterial spray and rolls are available throughout the gym floor and studio and we encourage members to use upon arrival, during their gym sessions and as leaving.
Our team will be wearing visors/masks while at reception or cleaning the gym floor. Masks/Visors are recommended for use for all members, except when training. If you are exempt from wearing a mask please avoid face-to-face contact with staff and other members.
Booking & Checking In:
Members will be required to pre-book their slot on the gym floor, the same way you would usually book for a class, by using the app. Once open, you will be able to pre book up to 7 days in advance
Upon arrival, we are operating a minimal contact entry system – members will tap in using their app at reception
Upon entering reception, members should use the antibacterial sanitiser available
The Gym Floor:
Members must adhere to social distancing by following the clear signage and instructions on the gym floor
All gym equipment will be cleaned frequently and thoroughly throughout the day, but we ask all members to wipe down and clean any equipment before and after use using the sprays and rolls available
Please be mindful at all times of other members moving about the gym floor
We request members do not bring their own mats or equipment into the building
We ask all members to also make use of the antibacterial hand sanitiser available throughout their gym session.Classes – anticipated to restart on Monday May 17th
The studio will have floor markings and signage for classes to ensure safe social distancing and no sharing of equipment. Members must stick to their designated spot within the studio at all times. If you need to swap out equipment for whatever reason, speak to the class instructor.
The class studio and all equipment will be cleaned frequently and thoroughly throughout the day, but we ask all members to wipe down and clean any equipment used, using the spray and rolls available.
We request members do not bring their own mats* or equipment into the building
Members cannot use the studio or studio equipment for training without an instructor or personal trainer present (classes or PT sessions)
*We recommend bringing your own mat and towel for all Hot classes.
- In the short term, our shower facilities will remain closed. The toilets and changing area will be fully accessible but limited to 4 people at a time.
- Please only use the changing facilities and lockers if absolutely necessary.
- Members should use the antibacterial handwash available upon entering and leaving the changing rooms.
Water station and product sales

Our water station will be operational; however, members will need to bring their own water bottle as we do not provide single use plastic cups
We will continue to sell products such as drinks, protein and supplements, please ensure you ask a member of the team to purchase the products.
